Veryan supply software that helps students find work placements that enhance their learning. We are pleased to support the work of Ocean Youth Trust South who do so much for young people in the same age group. Ocean Youth Trust South is an education charity that offers personal development through adventure under sail to young people aged 12 to 25. They operate the 72 foot sail training vessel John Laing, with safety and support provided by mainly volunteer skilled sea staff. Young crew members from a wide variety of backgrounds benefit enormously from the opportunity to face new challenges, enjoy new experiences, make friends, work as a team, acquire new skills and, above all, develop their confidence. A significant proportion of crew each year come from deserving or disadvantaged backgrounds. |
